How cute is my little family? On Saturday we had gone grocery shopping and I guess that just wore us all out
. We all laid down for a nap and when I woke up this is what I came out and found. Brent said that Emma didn't want to lay down by herself so he said he would cuddle with her. This is not such an unusual position for me to find them in and not the first time. I have come out and found these two cuddling on the couch dead asleep more than once. It is so sweet. My heart swells with love at seeing my sweet husband showing our daughter this kind of tenderness. When we were first married we went to my brothers to have dinner and play games with he and his wife and little girl. My niece was just barely two and loved to have books read to her. Dinner wasn't quite ready and so my brother told Brent to read her a story. Brent looked at my little niece and I thought he might make a mad dash for the door but alas he sat down and gingerly read her a book. This was a hug surprise for me. I had always grown up around kids and watched my brothers playing with younger kids and loving them. I guess I just expected that Brent would be the same way. I wondered what it would be like when we had children of our own. Now eight years later my husband never surprises me any longer with the
tender way he handles Emma. Matter of fact I love watching him with little ones. They hardly ever have a problem when he has them. A few weeks back he was holding my friend Chantal's little girl while we were at dinner and she just snuggled down into him. It makes me want to be held myself and he is always willing to oblige!

AW. How sweet Cyndi! Brent is such a good hubby and daddy. It's so amazing when you see your husband and "Daddy's little girl" cuddled up together. You guys are SUCH an adorable little family, i wish we lived closer. Hey we come out to Cali every year for our anniversary, maybe this year we could come say hi!
