Grandma Kathy is Brent's Mom. I cannot say enough about this woman. Since the very first time I met her she has gone out of her way to love me. I met her online very first. Brent had it all set up and even through the computer I was so nervous to meet her. Isn't it silly. Unaware to me at the time, she was getting my ring size. That too Brent had set up! Sneaky little family :) Through our eight years of marriage Kathy has stood by us. She has never had a word of complaint about who as a couple we are or what our beliefs are. She has ne

ver given us a hard time about being LDS and in fact supports us in our decisions. She loves her family so much and very quickly and early on I was able to feel that love as a daughter instead of as a daughter in law. I remember telling my mom before I married that I was worried about the relationship I would have with her (having only really met in person once) but my worries were for naught. If there is one woman out there who could sit and talk about anything in the world it would be her. She is able to talk about any subject even if it is something she has no knowledge of. She is a terrific grandmother. This past Christmas she crocheted Emma a whole slew of Barbie clothes (see old post Emma's Barbie's) and she is always thinking of things to send or make or whatever the case may be. She is so sweet and loving and caring. I found these pics of her. They are from a few different trips obviously since Emma is so m

uch younger. I was looking for a picture that both of us were wearing Glanbia shirts but I can't find it. (Which just irritates me because it's really cute). The last one is before we were married. It was thanksgiving and we were busting up a pinata which was a blast. By the way that is my niece Chris, not Emma. We always have a great time when we get to visit. I wish we could be there more often and we used to make trips there all the time but since we have moved to SD getting to Idaho is a little more complicated. I just want to say one more thing about Kathy. I love her like she could be my own mother. Happy Mothers Day Mom. We love you.
