Blessed

Today we made a new friend. For two months we have lived next door to a seven year old girl and had no idea. On the way to pick up Emma from school I met our neighbor and come to find out she has a girl Emma's age. Relief! This might not seem like such a big deal to some out there but having an only child is hard on playtime. We left a good neighbor friend behind and Emma was very sad. So was her mother! This neighbor we found out is LDS but inactive. We also found out that her husband is not a member. What a great chance to make some really good friends. Not only that but their culture is Peruvian. I am so excited to get to know someone new especially from Peru. She told me today that before she moved from there when she was 14 she had never even seen a tortilla! It just goes to show that not all South American's are "Hispanic". I feel so very blessed to have made this new friend. So very very blessed!
