BGR and Temple lights

On December 21, 2011 our family was invited to the pre grand opening of a great burger joint called....The Burger Joint!  A friend from our ward was opening it and needed a bunch of hungry people to do a test run with his new staff.  We were more than hungry, I mean willing to help out!  It really was so great and we ran into our friends the Fuhrimans while we were there too!  The food first of all is terrific and the atmosphere was fun and lively.  They have a really cool soda machine that allows for tons of different choices and flavors.  The bathroom was the thing that got to me however.... the bathroom music was from Schoolhouse Rock!  What a fun place.  When you go, get lots and lots of napkins because it is juicy!  Way to go Justin!  We love your restaurant!

After BGR we drove up to the temple to see the Christmas lights.  I'm sure each temple goes all out at Christmas with the lights and everything but our temple faces the I-5 freeway and so there is a life size nativity for all the travelers to see and then there is this one in the front.  Emma thought this was so sweet how Mary and Joseph are looking down on baby Jesus and wanted to be a part of their family for just a moment! 

Unfortunately all these photo's were taken on the cell phone that has a deplorable camera because I forgot to check the battery before we left but fortunately they turned out half way decent especially when viewed on the cell phone!  This isn't exactly centered but it's not bad for a cell phone!  We love seeing the Christmas lights at the temple.  It's become tradition!
