Christmas 2011

Six months later I'm getting to Christmas but at least I'm still working on it right?  These were a few of my favorite pictures from that morning and these were just a few that I wanted to remember forever!!!

This was going to be our Christmas card but I couldn't ever get the pixels to work out for me and it looked so grainy and terrible so I scrapped it but I thought it was really cute.  Oh well, maybe next year I'll try again!

When I got these pictures off the camera and on to the computer I realized my little girl is so not a little girl any longer.  This picture is so sweet and innocent.  I loved it.

These next two pictures are of presents we gave Emma.  Every year for her birthday and Christmas I try to make her something homemade.  I don't know what started it but I feel like it's giving a little something of myself to her and not all material things.  This year Brent helped me make this quilt and Emma thought we were giving it to some girl in the ward who needed a blanket.  She had no idea we were giving it to her so when she opened it and saw the quilt she had picked the material out for she was so touched!  It's those moments as a parent you realize why you started that tradition!

This one was all about fun!  I'm always trying to think of ways for our family to play together and at Thanksgiving I saw my nephews with Nerf guns.  I got it into my head we all needed our own Nerf guns to shoot each other with.  It's been a great purchase and we have a lot of fun in our little place shooting the heck out of one another!!!
