Choose the right?

So if you have read my friend Kellie's blog about saying thank you, you will completely understand this blog. Even if you haven't you can still feel my pain. Friday we are at the grocery store. I will not name the store that has a big four in the title but this I will admit is not the best grocery store to go to but a cheep one. It's a Friday night and one would think that it is not the most likely time to be grocery shopping. One would think that people would rather be out and about on the town or spending time with family or friends or even out on a date. One would think that I myself would want to be partaking in this as well but, no, we have chosen to grocery shop. So has everyone else in SD. The stinkin store was so busy. Here's the problem. Not only is it busy but people are stupid! Brent and I have this saying that we stole from a comic, "I HATE STUPID PEOPLE!" Your walking along on the right looking at the meat. You look behind you to make sure that no one is coming because you want to go around the person that is taking forever looking at the Salmon. There is no one coming so you move your car, I mean cart, to the left and then out of nowhere someone in another car, I mean cart, cuts you off. Here's another one. Clearly there is no one in the lane then someone pulls out and is heading toward you. Do you
A. Play chicken until one of you chooses a side
B. Play chicken until you smash into one another's carts
C. CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE LANE BECAUSE THAT IS THE LOGICAL THING TO DO!
Okay so I am a little emotional about this little topic but seriously why are people so stupid. You always choose the right. If you can't figure out how to drive a shopping cart you shouldn't be driving in the car to the grocery store in the first place. Here's one more. Cell phones. I know that it is recommended and in some states its the law to use a hands free ear unit such as a blue tooth while driving. There ought to be a law that it is required to use one in all grocery stores. No never mind it should be against the law to use your cell phone while your cart is in motion. Cell phone usage while grocery shopping is dangerous. Well that is if you are stupid.
I can handle people who take forever looking for something and I can handle the people who leave their cart on one side to cross the lane and get something else but it is completely inexcusable to be an idiot inside the grocery store. Please, please, and again one more please, use common curtsey's while operating your moving grocery cart. That is all I have to say on this subject!

In our H.S. and at the continued request of one angry English Teacher, the school posted signs in all the hall ways that said "Walk on the Right Side of the Hallway" The hope was that it would move traffic quicker. Good idea!

You should get those little plastic cheap CTR rings from Deseret Book and hand them out to all the idiots who don't know how to grovery shop or operate a cart. Hand them the ring and say, Choose the Right MORON! (i'm pretty sure that's the "right" thing to do)

ok, i'm not funny at all.

Girl you had a rough shopping trip! I'm sorry it was so tense for you! Deep yoga breathing helps when dealing with stupid people. Sometimes.

Hahahahahahaha...oh my goodness...you SERIOUSLY have the BEST blog postings...no matter when I check you've always got something that makes me THINK, SMILE or (in this case) almost PEE MY PANTS from laughing so hard. I laugh not at your frustration but at the fact that what you described is soooooo completely ACCURATE!!!!!!!! I definitely agree with the above post about the CTR rings...or better yet, next time just take a FOG HORN with you and when someone steps out of line you FOG 'EM!! Hahaha, now that will get them to start following the rules of the road...I mean, aisle!!!!
