What a disaster!
I know I said that I was not going to post because I would be so busy packing and now this is my second post in the last couple of days but tonight is Book Group. We are discussing the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. I am hosting it at someone else's house because mine is a disaster zone at this moment. I am so excited to be talking about this terrific book. I had it all planned out. I was going to make these terrific red theme cookies and then I have a little opener that I wanted everyone to play to get the books started off. Totally excited! There should be a great turn out tonight. and then...I AM A FREAKING MORON! WHAT AM I THINKING TRYING OUT THIS STUPID STUPID RECIPE! Can we just say argh! This is what these beautiful red cookies are supposed to look like.

ven comes close to forty cookies. I AM A GOOD COOK! How did I, where did I, what in the world went wrong. These looked so lovely for this great evening. Well guess what? I'm off to Costco to save the day! You know what really makes me crazy is that I wasted so much time on those stupid crazy cookies when I could have been packing. (Emma would be so mad at me for saying stupid three times. That is a bad word in our house. A bad word that I really try not to use but find myself slipping when I am mad.) Dang cookies. Oh well good thing there is a Costco just around the corner to rescue me. Horray for Costco!

I love this series, I seriously read each book in less than 12 hours (including taking care of my children). I can't wait until the next one comes out! Isn't it soon? And the movie, I'm not sure about it, it will either be great or not so great. Have fun tonight.
Hi George. I wish I could be a member of your book group. I would eat your cookies all up no matter what they looked like.

yea what happend?
The night was still lots a fun!
go Jacob, the warm human! booo cold deadly Edward!
holy crap...liz's comment took me WAY WAY WAY BACK... holy crap... ok anyways... THIS IS THE STORY OF MY LIFE! I'm in no way, shape or form efficiant enough to try things out EARLY so I always try things, mess them up and go to costco to by the big chocolate cake and rotiserie chickens....DOH!
Those darn cookies! I hate when things happen like that, but I am just like you. I see a great recipe and think, This would be great! When it doesn't turn out and your plan starts to go south it is pretty frustrating. I hope the rest of the night turned out a little better.
i have nothing to say to this comment at all, besides Cyndi's food can be a disaster. actually not really. out of the family i think she is the only one who can really cook. anyways the real reason to post something is so brent can have something to read. that poor soul. then again maybe he likes all the girl jab.
ps can i have the xbox back mine brock
Awe T. that is so sweet. You are such a talker! And oh by the way...No I'm keeping the Xbox. I just got a new game at Lego Land and I can't wait to play it. Except that I have to wait until I move and then wait until I unpack the box the the system and then again wait until I unpack the box with the controllers. Crazy psycho packer!
LOL! That is WHY i DON'T COOK!! That is how ALL my food turns out. lol. Gosh, you're so cute.
