o do another thing. My good friend Steph was listening t
o me complain about everything that is not a big deal (she's such a good friend) and she said that I needed a break and that I should go to the beach. What a great idea! I started getting things out to take with us and realized the onlything that was not packed were the sand toys. So with no towels or blankets or anything but the sand toys we went off to the beach. We had a great time. We even found four perfect sand dollars. However I left them there. That is the last thing I need. More shells to pack! We also found a sand dollar that was still alive. It had a bunch of hairy things on one side and they were all wiggling and moving around. You can see a little in the video but it is kinda blurry. Oh well.

I cannot even tell you how jealous I am!! To be able to just pick up and go to the beach. sigh BTW I love Emma's "Are you SURE?" That's what hannah would say.
Oh my gosh i'm literally COUNTING the days until our annual California trip! Living by the beach would be the ultimate 'wonderful'!! hmmmm...i miss the beach. Those pictures of Emma are so cute. I love the sand dollars as well, i love how they go from big to small. How fun. I'm so glad you got a break from packing! It can be SO ROUGH!!

We were at Mission Beach - Belmont park. During the off season it is usually pretty nice and there usually aren't that many people there. During the in season though it can be pretty packed. It's a fun place to take tourists though because there are fun shops and amusement rides if they want a break from the beach. Plus there are bathrooms somewhat close and that is always a positive. I think this season I want to try and find new beaches. Everybody talks about Coronado and I've heard about OB so we'll see. I still love La Jolla but parking is so hard there. I might take you up on the offer to watch Emma as the time gets closer! Thanks. BTW did Brian Jr. get his little birthday letter from Emma?
this is SO what life is about... you and your baby girl at the beach...I LOVE IT!! she is BEAUTIFUL!
Good for you. SOmetimes we need a break from the tedious of life to enjoy the beauty all around us. I bet Emma really appreciated having some time with you as well. Just think, in a few days this will all be over and you'll be in your home. What fun!
