Disneyland - Day 2

Day 2 at Disneyland was of course great. Early on the first day we were there, Brent saw a cart for Corn Dogs. He really wanted a corn dog and we kept on the look out for another cart but never saw one and we were mainly in California Adventures. He ended up having a turkey leg instead. (Don't know why I am putting this in here except that the story continues in the next post.) We started off in Disneyland and then when the other park opened we were there for the rest of the time. Some of our memorable moments were, Brent and Emma riding the Teacups twice in a row, (I went the first time but couldn't handle the second) trying to pull the sword out of the stone, (which was so cute because Emma was really really trying to get it out of there. She's seen the movie and said that maybe if she could get it out then she could become queen! Dang I love my little girl) going though Aurora's castle, riding the merry go round three times in two different parks, riding all the little rides in fantasy land like Mr. Toads Wild Ride, THE MATTERHORN!, scaring the living daylights out of Emma on the roller coaster Screaming California (it's so frickin fun!), Emma getting her shirt commented on about a zillion times, going on the new Toy Story ride, getting soaked on the white water rapids ride, hehe moleskin!, and last but not least Emma standing in front of all the letters in front of California Adventures and saying that "N" was for Aunt Nini and "R" was for Uncle Roger and this is this and that is that. Very cute. The one that I liked the best was when she said that "I" was for Marilene! That night was the company Talent show where Emma performed her Tae Kwon Do in front of everyone. She was so great! I'm so proud of her. What a great day.

Isn't the new Toy Story ride the best thing that hit CA Adventures!?! I think it's my new favorite ride there! While my mom got fast passes for something my dad, Devon, and I went on it again as single riders because we didn't want to wait in the line again! (If it didn't have single riders, we would have waited though :)!)

how stinkin' fun is that? I am way jealous that you are so close. Do you get to go a lot? And is it less crowded if you go during this part of the year? I've always wondered that. love ya miss ya.
