Jedi Training at Disneyland

How many of you knew that you could learn to become a Jedi Knight at Disneyland? Yes it's true! While at Disneyland this last time Emma and Geoff got to go through Jedi Training. It is the coolest thing! I had seen the show before but couldn't get Emma to go up the first time. After she saw it through though she really wanted to try it out. Stephanie and Geoffrey had never seen it and I didn't want to tell them that much about it because when Darth Vader comes out from a elevator in the ground it is so cool! The kids each get to fight Darth Mall or Darth Vader and they get light saber training and there is music and Storm Troopers and the whole works. You really get into the mood when you are there and come out of it on such a Star Wars high! Before the show they tell you that not everyone in the audience will be picked. Both Steph and I were worried that one kid would get picked and not the other. Both of us were doing some serious praying that they would get to go up together. When they both were picked we were so stoked! I can't tell you how excited I was. Geoff had been showing us how to use the force and Emma was telling everyone around her about Lego Star Wars. I think when Darth Vader did come out Steph was just about to need her brown pants. I knew she wasn't expecting that one. One by one each kid got to go before Darth Vader (video's of both Geoff and Emma below) but after Geoff got done fighting Darth Vader the Storm Troopers "stormed" him and the Jedi Master told him to use the force. It was so great he did one then he did the other then he did both together! For hours and days after that the two of them were using their force on everything including automatic doors at the mall and anywhere there was a handicap door. At first they really believed it too! This is something I would recommend for every little boy or girl who likes Star Wars. IT WAS A BLAST!
