Just an update and a lunch date

I know I have been really bad about catching up and keeping my blog going but packing to move is going well and everything looks like I am right on schedule which of course makes me very happy and not nearly as stressed as I have been in past times. I am so caught up that tomorrow a great friend, Leslie is taking me and Emma out to lunch and I have to say that after the day I had today I feel so blessed to have someone like Leslie. She and I have worked together in Enrichment and I have gotten to know her really well. She has been kinda my mom at different times and so much my sister always. Sometimes I feel like people don't understand her or they judge her before they really get to know her. Sometimes I wonder if people feel like they don't know how to approach her but I have found that she is just a sister like the rest of us. She has a really great sense of humor that is a bit on the dry side but very much appreciated in my day to day life and she has such compassion for those who others brush off. I am always impressed with her desire to be proven to the Lord and her willingness to show Him that she won't give up. She is someone I am really going to miss having so close a relationship with when we move. She has been my mentor and my sounding board this past year in my calling and I feel like not only have a learned a ton of leadership skills, compassion, and understanding from her but such important life skills as well. I am really looking forward to having this time tomorrow to share in our sisterhood and have my lamp refilled. I love you Leslie. Thank you for so much, so much that I can not even begin to write! To finish with the update, it looks like things with this move should be pretty smooth. I am already starting to clean and that is way ahead of schedule. I am planning on asking the ladies from the ward to help me clean on Monday but depending on what I get done in the next few days there may not be much to do which would be nice. Well enough for tonight. I am off to soak my tired dogs because they have been barking rather loudly this evening!
