Anita came to visit for our birthday's and we had so much stinking fun. First off Anita was able to come for a whole week which was so great and of course we had to hit the beach. Then the next couple of days Brent had a symposium in Anaheim that he had to work at and so Anita figured out that she could get a really great priced two day pass and come to Disneyland with us. Brent's work hooked us up the first night in the Paradise Pier Hotel and can I just say that we loved every minute of being in that hotel!!!! We had so much fun. They had a totally fun water slide and a great pool that we took total advantage of. It wasn't even terribly crowded at the pool surprisingly. Another one of the perks to being in that hotel was a private booking to Build a Bear Workshop. Emma had been saving her money just for this occasion and to do it in Downtown Disney specifically. When we got to the hotel I think Anita saw that you could book a private time to go there by just being guests of the hotel. It was pretty cool. They let us in early and there were only a few kids there and all the workers treated her so great. She got to shop around without tons of people in the store and if you have every been there to that particular store you know how crazy it gets there. She had so much fun. The video is pretty funny of her checking her money.
Then Anita, Emma and I played in DL the first day and then at night Brent joined us. The next day was a play day for all of us and we had so much fun being there all together. After playing together in San Diego for awhile Emma and I went back with Anita to Las Vegas and we played a week in Las Vegas but that is for another post. Here is a slide show of some of our funnest pics because there are just to many to try to pic our favorites...
The other part of this exciting week was Emma performing her karate in the Primary Talent Show. We had not been in the ward very long and people really didn't know how much of a ham Emma can be. She performed her Palgwe Forms 1 and 2 and then did them eyes closed. She explained it all before hand but nobody could hear her so finally they gave her a mic and she said something funny about everybody not knowing what she was saying. People don't realize that when she gets on stage infront of others she becomes this other person. It's pretty funny to watch. We had a good time that night. Unfortunately only one picture really turned out and the video just didn't make the cut. But here is the pic. Pretty cute!
