HTML....NO Problem!

Last week our dear school librarian asked me to help her with a web problem. "Sure thing", I thought because we all know what an expert I am at solving web problems! You just take a broom or a vacuum and suck that sucker up! Right? Well maybe not!!! Web problem solver is NOT my middle name but I figured I could give it a go, after all I'm a blogger right? How different could it be!?! WAY DIFFERENT! I sat looking at this web page that was basically blank. She gave me access, showed me around a little bit and told me what things she wanted listed on the page. RIGHT!!!! So after pulling my brain out of my backside I got to work trying to figure out how to add all the things she wanted on this page. I finally figured out after searching all over the internet that everything could be programmed in HTML codes but I've never done anything like that except copy and past them into my blog to make cutesy backgrounds! It was a journey for sure but once I figured out it could be done I knew somewhere someone would have a basic tutorial on HTML codes. Sure enough I Googled it and there it was! I was off to a great start. Then Mrs. Jessie comes back and tells me she wants links to her Amazon wish list and a special login button in a more convenient place. So I thought, "No prob Bob! I got this!" Wrongo! I was lost! All the sudden the computer is telling me that I can't use Javascript?! WHAT? What the heck is Javascript and what does it have to do with HTML codes? Well I put the project on hold and came crying to my brilliant hunny for help. He sat down at the computer, was there for maybe two minutes and had a code all ready for me to take back to school and apply. Not only that but he taught me how to find stuff written in code! Brilliant that man is, completely brilliant! So the other day I got back on, found the login button she wanted, copied and pasted both that and the Amazon code that Brent did for me and sent it to my email so I could pull it up at school. When I got there she asked me to include a link to her email so I went to a page where someone else had the same thing, looked at the codes, copied and pasted and that was that! Everything is finished! I'm way proud of myself. It's kinda silly because I really didn't learn to much about how to write codes, all I really did was learn where to find ones already written and copy and paste!!! :) That's ok though because at least I learned that! Now can somebody please tell me where I went wrong on my blog because my side bar no longer shows up as a side bar, it's at the very bottom of my blog and I can't seem to move it back into place! BAH!!!

Lol. You crack me up! I and think it's funny you were talking about spiderwebs at first because not 10 minutes ago Kaitlyn was saying she loved you because you were a good "spider-killer; she just looks at it for a minute, slowly takes off her shoe, and then WHACKS it!" I was dying! You are legendary around here! : )
