FHE I forgot to blog about kite flying
This is an old post that should have been posted aw
hile ago but for some reason or another the pics got pushed aside. Every time we go to fly the kites for FHE or any other time, I reminisce about one of my first dates with Brent.
We were supposed to be flying his kite in Liberty Park in Salt Lake City but when we got there, there were tons of cars and tons of people. Brent had forgoten that it was Pioneer Day weekend and the park was packed with people c
elebrating. In SLC it is a major holiday. Instead we left the kite in the car, walked 16 blocks to the park, ended up going on a few amusment rides that were set up for the holiday, I got sick on the first ride, prayed for Heavenly
Father to get me out of this strange situation with this strange man and then I fell in love with that"strange" man who is now my husband. (Seems like the big Guy upstairs always know's what's best!) It seems like everytime we go to fly kites something strange happens and we either can nev
er get them up into the air or they get into the air and then break of the string and we never see the kite again. It is still one of our favorite things to do and now Emma loves it as much as we do. This time was no different. We didn't get either kite to fly but the moon was amazing and we had a blast being together. That's all thats important anyway! In the one crooked pic of Brent you can see the moon sort of above the tree's. I tried to get a picture but it didn't turn out the way I wanted.
