The Great Escape!

(February 4, 2011) Earlier I posted about my sisters dog Pudge. Well this was her great escape away from reality for the weekend. We had a great time together. I love that she stole Craig away to come with her. He and Emma get along so great. We really didn't have anything planned and sort of went with the flow most of the weekend. Here's some of the highlights!

Just a Kodak moment in the bathroom. Plus I wanted to finally get a picture of the towel I made a few years ago for Emma that is now too small for her.

This was at Old Poway Park. When I found out that they have a little train there I knew Craig would just love it. Hopefully someday he can come back during the summer when the actual engine is running. We still had a great time even though it wasn't the real thing!

Hehe! I know we aren't supposed to climb on the trains but I really wanted a picture of the kids up on the train. I know I broke the rules. Obviously Craig didn't like it either! He wasn't happy at all to be up there!

Emma on the other hand didn't have a problem at all with being near or on the trains. I love this completely unnatural pose Emma's in. So cute!

This was one of my favorite moments. Emma reading to Craig and Craig soaking up every moment of it no matter if Emma was getting every tone and phrase rhymed up just right. I can't believe how much Emma has really begun to love to read and I can't believe how much Craig loves to be read to.

Testing out the water. Craig and Emma were crazy every time we went to the hot tub. They would run back and forth from the hot tub to the pool. Don't they know it was the first week of February?

Em and Dad! What else is there to say except that these are my two favorite people in the whole world!

I wish that Emma had been looking at me for this picture but alas it wasn't in the cards at that moment. Craig's pants are cracking my up here. They are so cute together!

I just happened to catch this picture as Emma was climbing off the rock from the above pose. It's gonna have to be one I print off. That look is worth a million!

Cute cute cute! I love pics like this on the beach, from a distance. Look at all that marine layer out by the hill. So great! Ah the beach...I love it so much. Oh ya and Anita and Craig too!

This picture cracks me up. Emma was taking a sister pic of Anita and I and it sorta got screwy. I think it's so much fun though! It looks as if the water is going to slide right out of the picture!

The better of the two but not nearly as fun as the first!
