Every so often Emma gets a itch to draw. 
This is certainly not something she gets from Brent nor I but I wish she had gotten it from me. Neither one of us has any talent that way buuuuut Brent's brother, niece, and mom all have talent in this arena. I would love love love it if Emma's talent were able to develop. I've ALWAYS wished I had the ability to pick up a pencil, doodle, and have it resemble more than ink blots! Anyway this is something I found her doing one night. While one of her Barbie movies was playing she sat there 
drawing characters. Sure enough I came back to into the room again and she had it paused on this specific guy and was drawing him (or Her?) When I looked down to see how she was doing I was BLOWN away at how well she had done for and eight year old! It's my secret wish that someday both our names will grace the cover of children's books. Her as illustrator and me as author!

what a great idea! She is talented. there arelots of art classes in the area forher age.
