(Still catching up) On Sept 2, 2011 my parents came to play. I really want to show them the beautiful place we live every time they come. We've even just driven around to see flowers on the freeway before (I know...lame but hey when you come from Vegas and then live in paradise!) This time we took them to the Birch Aquarium @ Scripps. It's not exactly Sea World but both my parents have knee problems and I didn't think they would make it with all the walking. This was fun though for sure!

| My favorite are always the Jellies! They are so mesmerizing to watch! If I had the money and space to have a big salt water tank it would include Jellies! |

| I made everyone reach in and touch the sea anemones. The ones that look like they have a million tuber fingers...You can touch their tubers and they will lock around your finger gently. Then you can pull away without any harm to them or you. Don't worry I learned this on a field trip we took to this place when Emma was in first grade! It's totally cool! Oh ya I don't know who the heck that guy in the red is! |
