It starts off with school...
| Emma was so mad I took this picture. She was having a hard time with her homework and I told her we would make this event and see a year from them how her homework compared. I don't think she cared!!! |
| This was social studies! What you don't believe me? This before it was gone was a pizza shaped like California. The 4th grade had a huge pizza making experiment where the school brought in a pizza oven and everything and the kids had a blast! They were pretty darn proud of their pizza's! |
The next part of the month has to do with injuries....
| First Emma decided to sprain her pinkie finger. She and I were at the book fair at school were I was volunteering. She was bored and went to play with a couple of kids on the play ground. I knew the moment she left I shouldn't let her go. She went with some kids that I find not that great and I don't trust their mom and I should have known better. She was playing tag, turned around really fast to avoid being tagged and slammed her pinking into a pole. Off to the emergency room to have an xray. They put a molded temporary cast on her hand and made her wear it for two weeks. Luckily nothing worse happened! |
| Then a week or so after that Brent took a spill on his bike during a rain storm on the way home from work. He banged himself up with abrasions and the like but it wasn't terribly bad. Poor guy, I know he likes riding in the rain when it's not too heavy but it always makes me nervous and this is just the reason why! | |

The last part is Halloween!!!!
| Emma begged me to make her costume this year. She wasn't sure what she wanted me to make but she begged me to. While cleaning out her room earlier in the month we ran across her cape I made when she was three. At that time it was really long! It got me thinking that I had seen a design for hand cuffs, a mask, and shoe covers and thought it wouldn't be that hard to make it myself. It turned into more of a project than I ever wanted but I thought it turned out sooooo cute! She was Super E! She was disappointing that she didn't win the costume contest at school but that's ok! |
| These two cute birds are our pumpkins! We thought they turned out so cute that I had to blog them! Ah Angry Birds! How you've made me happy! |

| This last one is nothing special but a random picture of me! I'm not looking my best or my worst. It's just me. I really like my smile here though and that's the reason it's here. |
