So I have to say....

I thought that I was not a huge fan of the whole afternoon session of church. I had my whole list of reasons too. It was this and it was that, but you know, the only complaint I have now is, we get home and eat and within a short amount of time Emma has to go to bed which isn't such a bad thing but to her it didn't seem quite fair. Okay really I guess there is another reason which probably shouldn't even be a reason and it really won't be a reason soon so I don't know why I am even bothering to say it but honestly it is that I can't watch football. We got home just in time to see the last two minutes of our Chargers win their first play off game in 13 years. Now I know what you are going to say... It's that Sabbath and you shouldn't be watching football anyway. Yes that is true, however, well there is no however but the season will be over soon and that is why it should not be a reason to be upset about attending the later session. I have really decided though that this one o'clock thing is really not that bad. I get to wake up whenever, I get to piddle around the house (I am the queen of piddling), I don't have to get ready until like 11. What's not to love. My husband likes to cook breakfast for me and my daughter is old enough not to have worry about her getting up on her own. Church at one, NO PROB!
There is one more item that I have to address. The gym! Okay this is so gross. I was at the gym this morning, in the locker room and there are all these old ladies getting on bathing suits to attend the arthritis swim class. That's cool and all ,go old people, but this old lady bends over to get something out of her locker and just lets one rip. Now normally I'm the kinda person who takes on the Shrek theory..... better out than in... But this lady was first of all "naked" and I just happened to be closing my locker and got to witness the whole thing. Not only that but I was standing right next to her. There are private bathrooms for this kinda thing, after all we are women. Okay okay I know ease up on the poor old lady she probably couldn't even tell but HELLO why me!

I don't think there's anything wrong with watching football on Sunday. Of course, I'm a heathen, so what do I know? And I SUPPOSE I could root for the Chargers. But only cause you have LT, who is a TCU alum. But don't tell my husband or the Dallas Cowboys. I may be kicked out of Texas!
