Tagged - Six things you maybe don't know
Chantal said that she got tagged and that now, she is tagging me. I am new at this and I am not exactly sure what I am supposed to be doing but I think I just gotta do what she did soooooooo here we go. El numero uno....Hum stuff about me that you may not know.... okay here is one for the books, when I was very young I played the violin. I started when I was five. My Aunt Anita taught me out of her home and I really didn't like it that much except that I idolized her and so being there wasn't that bad. Practicing however was I think my Mom's worst night mare. I played for four years and every summer I think we took a break and because of that I was never able to get out of the first violin Suzuki book, (I do not blame my mother for this) however I can still show you how to hold a violin correctly and how not to use your wand as a Jedi Knight light saber! ( SO I WAS A TOM BOY GET OVER IT) El numero dos.... I have attended girls camp 14 times! Yes it is true that is almost half my life! The more astonishing thing about this however is that there is no doubt in my mind that 14 times is not over and that I loved every minute of all 14 times. 13 of those years were in Zion at Camp Kolob and the last was still in Zion but it was at a privately owned ranch. My dear friend Shelly can attest that they were not always the easiest times but that when we (Shelly and I) look back, they were the greatest! Oh how I love girls camp! By the way Aubrey, I will never forget sitting in the library at Chaparral High and you saying to me that I have way to many lists and that planning girls camp didn't need to consume my whole life. It still makes me smile to tell you that you can never have to many lists! El numero tres.... I love lists. I make a huge list every time we go out of town and then the whole time we are traveling I fret that we have forgotten something because it wasn't on the list! I even have a list of things to do on my cell phone so that I can carry it around and try to complete the list. I have to say however that it is not as easy to accomplish these various lists since I got married and started a family! El numero quatro.... I love that Emma is now going to school. Yes I love that she is learning and getting a good education and all of that but what I love more is my free time. It is hard to only have one kid and come to the realization that more may just not be what the Lord had designed for our family but when it comes to sending her off to school and then realizing that for about six hours four days a week (Friday I help at school) I have to do whatever it is that I need or want to do, boy, that is priceless! El numero cinco.... Okay I have to admit to something, I have this thing about chocolate. It is without a thought to any other type of food or desserts the best thing that anyone has ever come up with. It doesn't matter what or how it's made because seriously nothing can compare to chocolate. It is like a sweet lover. ;) hummmmmmm chocolate. And lastly El numero sies.... ( I think I might have spelled six wrong! Oh well you can't blame me I only had 2 first semesters of Spanish way back in high school) This one is kinda silly but you may not know this about me, I love to cook. I love to learn a really great recipe and make it a few times and then commit it to memory. I have a great pico de gallo and I can make Chicken Corde en Bleu like you have never had. The thing I love the most though is when I am going to go to a dinner party and they have asked me to bring something. Like Chantal had a party at her place and her family was going to be there and there was going to be a big brood over there and I don't know how we got invited but we did and I told her I would bring potato salad and after we had eaten everybody came up and told me that it was great potato salad. (it's my mom's recipe and it's fabulous) I love that! It makes me feel so good and usually I have a good time making it but the truth be told I have a great time eating it and watching others enjoy it as well. There are stipulations however. I hate having to through something together at the last minute and I hate having to look in the fridge to try and decide what to make out of what we have available. That last one really bugs! Anyway that is just a little something about me. Hope I didn't bore you to pieces!

Okay, I seriously said that? In my old age, I don't remember things that happened more than 2 days ago. That is just hilarious. See, I am now a list maker. I just cleaned out my purse and found my list for Christmas shopping, my list for our New Year's Eve party and about 14 grocery shopping lists. I kind of like lists. Maybe I got it from you . . . :-0
