Rock Star!

This past Friday was spirit day at school. The theme was Rock Star. Emma came home Monday and said she wanted to die her hair. I almost did something in my pants when she told me that. Of course she didn't tell me why or make mention that it was spirit day she just said she wanted to die her hair. I finally figured out what she was talking about and so we got talking about how she wanted to look. She told me she wanted to be a PUNK Rocker!!!! I have no idea where she got that idea or knew what those words meant. This was the result. She loved it. We had to wash her hair twice to get it out but she loved being different than all the rest of her classmates and loved that she looked different than anyone else at school! Whatever kid! It was always my ambition to meld into the group and not stand out but I'm glad my daughter is not afraid to be different! Rock on Sista!
