came in and saw her standing there in no pants, dawning an apron and making herself breakfast, I had a really good laugh but after looking at this picture a few more times I have come to decide that 8 years has gone by really really fast and that she seems so "grown up" to me. I'm not saying she is ready to take on the world by any means but as the picture shows, there she stands taking care of her own needs! She's being baptized in 9 days and I can't even begin to tell you what a reality check that is for me. I look at baby pictures and wonder if that is the same little girl who changed my life eight years ago. It certainly has been a crazy adventure up to this point. I don't even want to start looking at the next eight years!!! I love you Emma girl. You and your daddy are my whole world!

Growing up so fast
I took this picture of Emma on Sunday morning. At first when I 
came in and saw her standing there in no pants, dawning an apron and making herself breakfast, I had a really good laugh but after looking at this picture a few more times I have come to decide that 8 years has gone by really really fast and that she seems so "grown up" to me. I'm not saying she is ready to take on the world by any means but as the picture shows, there she stands taking care of her own needs! She's being baptized in 9 days and I can't even begin to tell you what a reality check that is for me. I remember holding that little girl in Young Women's meeting in the Royal Crest Ward. I can't believe she is getting baptized soon!!! Tell her congratulations for me. :)
