On Friday Emma performed in her very first open mic night. 
Ok it wasn't night time and it was at Barnes and Noble but the location and time don't matter right?! All the third graders at Emma's school are trying to earn money to send them on a field trip. This was their chance to get customers into Barnes and Noble by reading things they had written. Emma came to me at 6:30 the night before and said that she needed to write a poem for the next day!!!! I really didn't help her much except with a few little snafoos. She loved doing it though and even got to do it twice. Listen to the video. I think she needs to get involved in theater!!! Oh ya a big P.S. here....I"M NOT PREGNANT! I have no idea why she chose that subject but whatever!
