Emma's school had their annual Father Daughter Dance WAY back in February and I just found this picture. 
I'm a touch disorganized at the moment apparently! That's ok. These two had such a blast at the dance. Emma said it was WAY better than last year although she really didn't say why but she just kept saying how much fun it was. We had fun the morning before searching endlessly for a Hawaiian shirt that would fit Brent. Finally at one of the last places we found one. I feel so blessed to have a husband that will take his daughter out on a daddy daughter date and treat her like the princess she is. He even took her to Starbucks after for a hot coco. One of the ladies who was volunteering at their dance said that Brent was so sweet to Emma and danced nearly every dance with her. She said that he even did all the crazy dance moves that Emma wanted to do. Those who know Brent know he "doesn't" dance. So you can imagine that when I heard this I was touched deeply at my husbands actions. The best thing about this whole night and the next several to come is that this is something Emma will never forget. At least I still remember the times I was one on one with my dad and they are such sweet tender memories. I hope her always will be too!
