Happy Father's Day My Love!

Let me tell you (for the hundredth time) about Emma's Father. He is such a great guy. Early on in our marriage we watched a boxing match over at my brothers house. At the time his daughter was only about two. I had never gotten the chance to see Brent with kids. He said that he liked them and wanted to have a couple but that was as far as it had gotten. Bailey wanted him to read a book. He looked at me like she was asking him to jump off a cliff for her. In other words...Scared! I watched as he read to her. She of course was thrilled with anyone who would sit with her. I knew however, at that moment, he would be a good dad. Later when we had Emma and he put her diaper on inside out twice, I wondered what I had gotten myself into. He learned quickly though and was soon able to do all of his fatherly duties with ease. Now I can hardly get those two apart. I come in and find them asleep together on the couch or playing video games together or playing with her stuffed animals. I have been told a time or two that I have to play it the way Daddy does. He is such a good dad. Not only is he good with Emma but every so often I see him with another little one like my nephew Craig. I think he likes them the most when they can't really talk back! He is my Night in shining armor. He understands me like nobody else. I feel like we have been married long enough that I know what most of his looks and expressions are. I would like to think that I know what he is thinking most of the time but I know that I am not that good. I have to say that he is my best friend. I have never known anyone like him before and I am so thankful for him in my life. I am thankful for the Priesthood he holds and for his worthiness to be able to use it. I am glad (most of the time) that he is not sentimental and soft because he is really a level headed man and he seems to be able to help me see things clearly when I am being sentimental and soft. He still after eight years sends chills up my spine with different looks. I look forward to the next 60 years for I know I will be able to get the same feeling. I love this picture of his eyes. Dang that look gets to me. The very subtle smile, the intense eyes. Mmmmm! I can tell how much Emma loves her Dad too ,when she is missing him on his late nights and she comes out and says something like, "Do you think Daddy will come in and kiss me goodnight even if I am asleep?" Well Happy Father's Day Brent! Emma and I love you so much.

Hi, MArilene gave me all of your info. We are moving to SD within the next few weeks. My husband leaves on Sunday and is going to be looking for a house. If you know of any places, or nice areas we should check out let me know. We are excited for the move, but will miss all our wonderful friends here in Vegas. Hopefully, we can find a ward that we love just a much. Thanks
