Response to tags...sort of

3 Joys:

1. Six hours of blissful quiet while Emma is at school. This is only going to last for a few more days however because of the summer.

2. Helping out in Emma's class every Friday. I have really grown to love those kids so much. Again this is coming to a stop because of summer.

3. 7:05 p.m. Five minutes after Emma's bed time when I get my hubby all to myself!
(It sounds like I don't like my kid very much. I really really do. I promise)

3 Fears

1. Brent dying. This is my worst fear.

2. Emma dying. I think I can handle almost everything else but these two things.

3. I know there are others out there that I fear but I can't think of them right now and besides the first two, I know I can take on anything else.

3 Goals

1. Publish a series of children's books. It's already in the process, not the publishing just the writing part.

2. Publish a cookbook with great pics and recipes of all my favorite foods that I like to make. It doesn't have to be famous or anything. I think it would be really fun to give a new bride and groom for their wedding. "Here, this is a collection of all my favorite tried and true recipes to start out your new life with."

3. I am always working on being a better mother and wife.

3 current obsessions

1. This blasted computer! I waste so much time on here. The other day I sat down really for two seconds and swear I thought it really was just that and then before I knew it I was almost late picking M up from school.

2. Lego Star Wars on the XBox. It's so addicting.

3. Tiger Woods Golf on the XBox. Again addicting (for me anyway)

3 Random and surprising (I don't know about surprising) facts about myself

1. I typically listen to my ipod while I do the dishes. I turn it up almost full blast and drown out all noise and then sing my heart out. I don't know all the words to any song but I will make up a word that sounds right. I also will put on my ipod to clean the house. Matter a fact that is about the only way the house gets cleaned and per chance that some day you are at my house and I am pissed, don't be surprised to see me stick my ear buds in my ears and ignore you. My family is used to this I think by now. I don't know if Brent knows if I am mad or if I am just trying to get things accomplished. Oh ya I often wear them to cook. I really think I am going to be deaf by the time I am forty.

2. I am so opinionated. Last night we were watching the news and there was a report on these new swim suits that are supposed increase your speed in the water. Supposedly they have helped break something like 38 world records in just this year alone. Well anyway so we are watching this and there is this guy complaining about how Speedo is taking business away from them because they are monopolizing all of the top athletes. I got all pissy and started talking about how their company should hire scientists to develop the same kind of technology and stop their whining. I got thinking later that I give my opinion freely very often whether anyone wants to hear it or not.

3. I love to drive. I love to get in the car all by myself and turn up the radio (again deaf by forty) and drive around. I don't really care where I go, I just like the driving experience. I hate the fact that gas is so expensive now and that I can't use the car freely any longer to satisfy a whim.
