I believe I'll go canoeing

Saturday must have been made for the Hedden's to launch their canoe at Miramar Reservoir! It was one of the most beautiful days we've seen in a long time. The water was cool but not cold and was almost like glass which made paddling so nice. We found a little inlet that we could get out of the canoe and wander around for a little which was nice for Emma because she was a little bored. Anywho here are some pictures from our very fun outing!

Can you see the pink things sticking to the grass coming out of the water? We kept getting ourselves stuck in the middle of all the grass until we retaught ourselves how to steer a little better. Anyway the first time we got stuck we saw these pink clusters of eggs. We figured they had to be frogs eggs. I tried googling them to see if I could figure out what they were but I kind of grossed myself out in the search so oh well. They were all over the grass, everywhere we went. In any case it was so incredibly cool to see nature out there like that!

Yes we did stop off at McEE D's and yes we did bring our extra large diet cokes out in the canoe with us which was a huge mistake because they went flat before we could blink! I love Emma's face in this pic!

How cute are my two sweeties! This was towards the end and Emma was really trying to put up a happy front!

I found this picture of me when I got home and checked out all the pics Brent had taken. I love this picture of me. It's the only picture I love of me from the whole trip. That's how it goes sometimes right?

I was pretty bummed when I got home and put the pictures up on the computer. There was a spot on the lens of the camera and it's blurry in almost every picture. That's what I get for taking the camera out on the water!!!
