Christmas the group Brent rides with (Major Taylor Cycling Club San Diego) teamed up with the San Diego Cycling Club to have a charity ride giving toys to kids. They rode from La Jolla down to El Cajon where they met up with the Red Cross and donated toys. All of the people riding were supposed to carry along toys to donate. About t
en miles before the ride was done we met up with Brent and Emma rode in the last little bit. I have to aplaud their efforts because it was cold, windy and raining for a good part of the time (at least outside of my car it was). This picture of all the cyclists does not do justice to how many
people there were. Santa even went along for the ride. (Truly there was a guy in a Santa suit) They were supposed to decorate their bikes up for the ride and even though you can't see it, Brent rigged up lights all over his bike.
