Spark Plugs 101
He
re something I bet you didn't know about me. Someday I hope to buy an old 66 Mustang convertible that needs major work done to it and completely restore it along side my husband with his guiding hand and knowledge of old vehicles. I really enjoy getting my hands dirty under the hood of a car. A few hours after we made the doughnuts, Brent starting changing the spark plugs in our SUV. I told him that I wanted to come out and help him but that I had a ton of things to get cleaned before we left that next weekend. Eventually he came in looking for help with the very first and hardest spark plug. It was way in the back and his hands were to big to get to it. It took awhile but eventually he showed me where it was located and we worked it out of there. What a rush when that darn thing finally came out. I loved the fact that Brent and I worked side by side for the same goal and purpose and succeeded i
n our goal. What a great time. I did go back in for a while and clean but then when he came to the last one that was up front and very easy, he guided me while I replaced it by myself. We talked shop for a few minutes and then Emma came out and we talked shop for a few more. I can't wait until we have the garage and time and money to restore a vehicle of our choice. It doesn't necessarily have to be a 66 mustang but it does have to be something that needs a lot of work and will take a considerable amount of study, planning, research and learning. The thing I am looking forward to most is 1-The time spent with my husband. 2- getting my hands dirty. 3-Gaining a greater understanding of something that I don't really understand right now. And last but not least is #4- Necking with my husband in the back seat when we get it completed and perfect!
Oh ya, don't you love the picture of my Brinkalee's after my hand came out of the engine? Emma said that she had to take a picture of it and blog it. I of course had to blog it!
