The Wild Animal Park has snow?

We heard about the Wild Animal Park having fun Christmas stuff to do and since we have passes we traveled up there and enjoyed a few hours. Here are some pics that I thought were the best.I love this picture of Brent. He has this smirk that drives me crazy. Crazy in a good way! It's when I know he is really happy and not faking it. He can't fake this smirk. It's his I am devious and playful all at the same time.

Emma got to see the big horn sheep. This is Nevada's state animal. My dad used to have a big picture hanging somewhere of big horn sheep. I think he took that pic too. Hey Aubrey, do you remember seeing the big horn sheep on the rocks while we were on our canoe trip down the river? They are pretty interesting animals if I do say so myself!

This is jsut a cute pic I liked! Nothing more to say.

Emma made me take this picture I swear. She even said to me that I should blog it because it would make a great blog! I love her so much!

One of the things I love about the Wild Animal Park versus the Zoo is that they have these animal encounters all over the park at different times of the day. You can get pretty close to some of the animals and they tell you all about them. It is really fascinating. Well it is to me anyway.

In June when we were here before these lions were just cubs. Now they are full size. It's so fun to see all of them lounging around together. The one one it's back cracks me up. Click on the picture to see them better. They truly are incredible.

Yes the Wild Animal Park brought in snow. Emma had a blast. She was a little wet afterward and of course being a San Diego Mom, I didn't think about snow being "WET". Oh well we pretty much left right afterward anyway!

This last picture is my favorite of the whole day. We were on our way out when Emma saw snow being blown from the roof. She went right up and stuck out her tongue trying to catch snow flakes in her mouth. Almost as soon as she started she stopped. She had this funny look on her face and then she burst out saying, "This snow tastes funny." I got a little closer and sure enough it wasn't snow but a soap dispenser set up to make it look like snow. It was really soap bubbles being blown all over and Emma had caught them in her mouth! He HE! What a great time!

After that we booked it back to town for our ward Christmas Party and I just gotta say that it was a great party! Everyone who wasn't there from our ward MISSED OUT!
