BYU vs. SDSU

This was such a fun time. I love football and especially when I can sit with a bunch of BYU fans because you don't get all the swearing and beer and drunken rowdy crowds. It's good clean fun. Good clean Mormon fun! We had great seats and the sun only hit us for a very short time. Of course that is when I decided to put on my hat and of course that is the only picture I got of me with my hat on but oh well. Emma finally got her strawberry lemonade frosty thingy and was happy again. She actually did really really well and had a good time at the game. Of course having her bring her DS helped a lot and I didn't get nearly the whining I thought I would. If you look at the pic with her and the lemonade, you can see Nyla Vela and her son in the back ground for all of you who might be from the Linda Vista first ward and remember the Vele's. Jr. was sitting right behind us next to his dad but I think Nyla had jumped up a row to get out of the sun or something. Also anyone who has served at the bishops store house might or might not recognize the guy in the plaid shirt. He and his wife run the store house here in SD (I think?). We actually were there with a ton of people from our ward. There's another pic of Emma sitting with our friend that helped us get into the school that we wanted to when we moved here. So cute. I love Darlene's BYU Face paint! I was playing around with the binoculars and the camera and seeing if I could get closer pictures that what my camera offers. They are slightly blurry (the pictures of the players and the field) but it is still fun. I thought I got one of the ball in the air but I guess I didn't. Either that or I can't find the ball in the picture. BYU won which, sitting on the BYU side was SO MUCH FUN. Every time a touch down was scored there went the fans singing and clapping. Emma got a rush out of it the first time and then by the third time she said under her breath, "There they go again!" I just had to laugh. I've never been a BYU fan but now that I've been to a couple of football games I think I like it better than others because of the clean atmosphere. Plus sitting with a bunch of ward members was fun too. Thanks Darlene for getting great seats. We had a blast.
Oh p.s. the video is kinda fun but I couldn't follow the ball through the camera and so I missed the end of the play. Sorry!
