This was the day after the
beach. We went obviously to the Wild Animal Park. It was pretty fun. I have to say however that it was hot and so crowded! The girls were so cute though and we had fun seeing all the new babies. There were three new baby elephants, s
even new baby lions and a couple new baby giraffes. It seems like there was something else but I can't remember. The Lion exhibit is really quiet something. They had six lion cubs all laying against a glass wall in the shade. You got to go right up close and see them. that was cool. I definitely want to go back and take the up close and personal tour but only when it is not as hot! By the time we got up to the elephants at the end of the day I had huge blisters on the back of my heels. Time for those shoes to go bye-bye. Dang it I really love those shoes too! By the time we got out to the car we were all pretty tired but as we got started on the road home and things became a little quieter I looked back and this it the sight that I beheld.
My sister is such a good sport! Oh ya one more thing. Anita bought the girls a gift. After much deliberation they both decided on Lions. Jenna named her lion Kiara after the lion in
LION KING 2 and Emma named her lion...wait for it...Jenna! Yes you can imagine all the fun we had on the way back to Vegas. Emma and Jenna would play and Emma would be saying something like, "Jenna, you're in time out!" I would turn around and say, "What's going on?" Then the girls would quickly explain that they were talking to their lions! I got used to it pretty quick but it was a little crazy to keep track of at first.
