Post 6 - Party with the Sista's

Sorry I am still playing catch up...You'll just have to endure! Tuesday (several Tuesday's now) was so much fun. A few old friends came over to my friend Shelly's Mom's house and we had a swim party. By the way Marilene, I consider you an old friend too! I really wish that I could have seen more friends but then that is just the way it goes I suppose. I guess the ones who came are really the ones who love me the most! (Hehhehehehee...jab jab jab) Here are a few pics and check out this pic on Karen's blog, it's so cute. We really did have a great time. We even BBQed some hot dogs thanks to Auntie Myrna. She is such an awesome party lady. She made potato salad (yes it was comparable to my moms even though she didn't think so) and had veggies platter and chips and had a whole pretty 4th of July theme going with all of it. Your the greatest woman! Thanks again for your pool and your house and your warm hugs and for always treating me exactly the way you treated Shelly! By the way thanks Uncle Dennis for letting us use your "SMOKIN GRILL!" After everyone left Shelly and I sat around in the hot tub until I think about eight at night. Her dad even came out and turned on the heat without us even asking. That is the way the Egberts are though. Generous down to the very core. The kids played and played. Shelly has always been one of those friends who I will always be able to talk to even if I don't get to see her for months on end. I think part of it is because we have known each other and each others families for so long but I think the bigger part of it is just because, well lets face it she is a kindred spirit or rather, just like my sister. Our kids even got along like sisters do! She's got four amazing kids and is an incredible mom. She is the Primary President in her ward and even had the last few pregnancies during her call as such without being released. She is my version of super woman. I can't express my relationship with Shelly without tearing up. She means so much to me. We have been through some pretty awesome things together. I still can't believe we talked your mom into letting us go to Orem that time and I can't believe we didn't get busted more than once with the crazy stuff we pulled. I don't think our husbands are ever going to get used to Eunice and Georgeous nor do I think they totally understand the nicknames either! I love you girl so much and because it is you, I'll hold your melons anytime!
