Steph and Geoff - San Diego Zoo

I know I have posted about the San Diego Zoo

before but to make Stephanie's whole trip a few weeks back complete I have to post everything. I had to do a slide show too because there was just too much. I will give you the highlights however. This was a great day. A day of conquests and triumphs, trials, patience laughter, sisterhood and new experiences. Lets start with the Sea Lion show? Question? Why does the zoo have a sea lion "show" but you can't see the sea lions after the show? The world may never know. Cute show though. Lets move on to the conquests and triumphs section. We kept telling Geoffrey that we were going to ride the Skyfari ride up in the air and he just kept getting more and more nervous. I wasn't so sure we were going to get him in the basket. He did it though and when we were air born he thought it was great. (that's the cute pic with just Stephanie and Geoffrey) Next on to the trials. It was hot and the kids got cranky. Enough said...on to the patience...It was hot and the kids got cranky. Enough said!!!! Lets move on to laughter. So at one point when the kids got tired we decided to sit down and watch Mrs. B's Story Time. I kinda thought it would be a little gay but ya know what the heck right? No not gay at all! This woman is so great. Her story time is later in the afternoon and it is perfect because we really needed a break. She was so frikin funny that my sides hurt. The kids totally got into it and we totally got into it and just had such a blast. After it was over we went up to thank her because we were so impressed. Come to find out she thanked us for being such a great audience and told us that she had just entered into this contest and that she was taping the whole thing. What a blast. Okay well on to the sisterhood part of this day. So I really believe that we have kindred spirits here upon the earth. I get along with people pretty well but I honestly think that Steph and I were friends before we came to earth. I have been amazed at what our friendship has been through and that it still remains strong. So much of it is honesty with one another but I really wonder if the good Lord just needs us to be friends. We went all over the park and had some of the most stimulating conversations. I love ya girl. Ok so this last picture is of these giraffes. I had to post just these two. Yes they are in the slide show but it fits into the new experiences part. I knew that you cold feed the giraffes but I have never paid to do it. I still have never actually fed them myself but we got to watch the kids feed them and it was so cool. I gave my biscuit to Emma because I hadn't gotten a good enough shot the first time. Actually it all happened so fast that I didn't even get a shot the first time. Next time we go to the zoo I want to feed them myself. The other picture I am thinking about sending to AT&T or whoever the carrier is that says more bars in more places. This pic of the giraffes all lined up like a cell phone bar cracks me up. What do you think? Think AT&T will pay me to get this picture?

You should totally send the last picture of the giraffes to AT&T! That's such a crack up!
