Steph and Geoff - The Beach and the end!
So this was the very last day Stephanie was here. We went to the beach of course! I love the beach so much. She was a little afraid that we would have bad weather but I assured her that
SD is just like that. It's cloudy and cool in the morning but by mid day you can almost always count on sunny weather. It was such a great day. I love crowded beaches most of the time.
You kinda get into the spirit of everyone's joy at being there. I of course had to take a nap and I guess that Steph got it in her that she wanted Geoff to try to boogie board so while I was
napping she bought the kids these boards. She is so sweet! Well then we saw how fun it looked and she told me to go buy us a couple too. Again so sweet! We had a blast. I am for sure going to take my board out way more and play. I have never really enjoyed actually playing in the water in the ocean but I think I may have just found a new hobby! Anita will be here in a few minutes,
"hopefully" ( I am waiting up for her to come for our birthday weekend "early") and we are hitting some beach in town tomorrow where I plan to attempt more boogie boarding! Wish me luck! All in all Steph being here was great. It was pretty hard moving here right after
we had rekindled our relationship, especially because on the day we moved she went into the hospital with a blood clot which ended up with her loosing a baby and eventually heart surgery. It was difficult (I'm sure more for her) for me to be here and her to be back in Vegas without me to help. I really struggled with feeling guilty because I couldn't be there for her. It was great to have her here. I keep trying to talk her into moving here and being a part of our ward! I know she would fit right in. Oh well, I'll just keep having to try.
