Box Tops!
Wi
th the help of my good friend Angela, we turned in over five dollars in Box Tops at the beginning of the school year! What are Box Tops you say? I am beginning to find out that they are everywhere. Thanks to Angela and her scissors I have started looking for them on toilet paper packages, under Kleenex boxes, and on Bisquick! I am amazed how many there are out there. The thing with these little cards is that they are worth .10 cents to schools. The company's of these fine products (above mentioned) and many more will just "give" the school money for each Box Top turned in. I found out the other day that we have just over 250 students in our school. If every kid turned in just one, the school would get $25. Amazing? Well not necessarily, but think if it took us three months (the summer) to save enough for five dollars worth and every kid had saved five dollars worth over the summer, we would be starting the school year with approximately $1250. Lets just imagine that every kid in school did that for the entire school year the school would get a big fat check for, drum roll please, $3750. Can you imagine what a school could do with $3750 every single year? Man that would be cool. There is money to be made out there. Thanks Angela for turning my head and making me aware of the possibilities!

I wish we had more parents who were so excited about helping the schools in the district like you! We could do amazing things for our kids and our schools. I may have to get on that bandwagon too.
