Lake Murray

So like I said in an earlier post we made plans to go ride our bikes around Lake Murray. It was overcast and started out a bit on the chilly side. I wasn't sure that we would even go because of an early morning lesson in having a good attitude with our darling daughter. It set us behind and threw off my schedule. I wanted to go to Jennie's stamping party but decided that I just wasn't going to make it. We did have fun being at the lake though. We found out that you can rent canoes and fishing boats and other stuff. It's three miles around the lake one way and it is just a little hilly and then you turn around and ride back around the lake. It's a fun ride all together and I can't wait to go back and put our canoe in the water. Emma and her cute self.

Me and M with the bikes.

Brent and Emma infront of his newly refurbished bike.

The three of us after the first half.

Emma on the dock. The dam is behind her. Look close and you can see it. Who knew there is a dam in San Diego!

Your bike that is attached to Emma's is so cool. I've never seen anything like it. Is it custom built? Why isn't she behind Brent's bike? Just curious.

You don't have to take your Canoe to the lake. You can just use UNLV's concrete canoe that sank there two years ago. WARNING...it doesn't float very well.
