Long and Loving or Short and Sassy?

Picture day is tomorrow and I know people freak out for picture day. Last year we ended up cutting Emma's hair about a month after we had pictures. I was happy that we had gotten the pictures with her long hair and didn't think any different for this year. Emma came to me yesterday and told me that her hair is hot and she wanted it cut. I was a little surprised but whatever. I have cut her hair before and done a good job so I told her I would do it that night. Well then she decided that she didn't want it cut. This morning was pretty warm in our house and she came to me again and said she was wrong, that she wanted it cut (her words). So at six this morning we cut her hair. I was getting more and more behind and didn't get to cut her bangs so she went to school with her hair up so that any mistakes were unnoticed. We just finished her bangs and I think her hair turned out so cute. I love her both ways. The long hair is fun to play with but her hair is so thick and it does get really really hot for her even if it is up. Short is so cute too. I always think of her as sassy when it is short! I gotta brag just a little bit here because I have never had any training. I have just watched people do it and thought that I could do that same thing. I know there are probably mistakes there but when you are living on a budget, you do with what you have and what you know! The most important thing is that she likes it and is excited for her new cut for picture day. The first pic is right after she woke up so her hair is a little morning crazy and the other one was right after we finished with her bangs so it is not curled or anything but it's still cute even uncurled!
