Build a Bear or Build a Memory

I seriously do not like this store for reasons that are probably obvious to every parent, however Emma loves it , of course, and wanted to save enough money to get a bear. She has been saving since her birthday which was in the beginning of June. She has done tons of chores for quarters and dimes depending on the type of chore and looked on the ground for every little penny. Grandma and Grandpa gave her all their change at the end of her trip to add to the growing fund. We had incentives for her to work toward to earn money as well and after several long months she finally had almost enough to go. We pitched in the rest and let her do it. She ended up with somewhere around $36 and we had to pitch in about 5.

Of course you have to wash the brand new thing. It wouldn't be any fun if you didn't get to do the whole thing.

In the end it wasn't a bear it was a bunny and she has slept with it almost every night!
