Bus Jump and sewing?

I was asked to assist with the Bus Saftey Drill or Bus Jump again this year. I didn't really like it last year because you run around to all the rooms and get the kids and then stand in the sun or in a hot bus for three hours. Plus it just wasn't a "good" time of the month. Oh well I did it anyway. I didn't realize that it was the same day as our first Enrichment Sewing class and not that I had to be there but I like there to at least be somebody from the Enrichment Committee there and I always like to go to the first one and then of course I just wanted to be there to learn to sew better. I am really excited about this group. Ok sorry back to the bus jump. It wasn't all that bad this year. Except for what I mentioned about the montly problem and it being so incredibly hot outside and inside the bus, everything went pretty well. The fourth and fifth graders were roundy but that was expected. Emma was so cute about it that I made her go back around and jump again so we could get a picture! I even jumped on the very last round of kids. As soon as the last class was through jumping I dashed out of the school and to Chantal's house. I really was praying I wouldn't get a ticket because I was going WAY over the speed limit. Luckily I didn't get a ticket and I was only about 15 minutes late and I didn't miss any of the instructional stuff. (WAY TO GO WITH YOUR FIRST GROUP CHANTAL. IT ROCKED!) As I mentioned earlier I am really excited to be able to learn from people who know how to sew better than I do. Chantal is creative, organized, and energetic and has pretty good resources she is willing to get help from. The willing is the key word here because I am so grateful that she has looked outside herself for the benifit of the RS sisters to learn as best as they can. Oh if we would all be willing to put ourselves out there! Click on the link and see what she has planned for our ward and you can follow along as well.
