End of year carnival

This wasn't that big of a deal but I thought this picture was so cute. Actually at the time this was a big deal I guess. Emma's Karate test was that same night. I really didn't think that we would be going to the carnival because of her test. We (Jenn, Linda Joshes Mom and Myself) were all kind of in an uproar about it because the kids (Nicolas, Joshua, and Emma) wouldn't let it go and all three were kinda ticked at us because they had to miss it. Jenn suggested that we go first thing as soon as the Carnival started and then leave in enough time to still make the test. Which in turn means like half an hour. I didn't really think that that would be enough time to use all the free tickets we had been given but who cares if they are free right? The funny thing which really wasn't funny that day though was that it turned out I was there for most of the day at school setting things up and then again later that afternoon to set up some more and then again an hour before it started to finish setting up. We were only there for the actual carnival for about 45 minutes and then rushed to the test where Emma did very well and passed with flying colors! If we could have we would have stayed longer but to tell you the truth I was kinda relieved we didn't have to stay there any longer than we did. It had been a very long day for me and I was tired way before this picture was taken. All in all though a cute picture!
