Packing it up, saying goodbye, and our last FHE

This is sorta two post in one. The first picture is Emma helping me pack. I love it when she decides that she has to look like you but when she puts the same thing you have on she looks ten times cuter! We were wearing almost the exact same thing down to the bandanna. Most of the time I sent her away to play with her friend Joyce because she was in my way. Yes I am way to much of an anal packer it's true. Anyway this day we were doing her room so I made her help me so that she could see what was up and that all of her stuff would be safe. She was very worried about that.

This second picture is of course Emma and Joyce. Emma had a really hard time with leaving Joyce. I actually did too. It was so nice for Emma to go and play almost whenever with her neighbor. They always didn't get along but for the most part they did and when they did it was just like this picture, two peas in a pod. Hopefully Emma can find some new friends like this. Pray for her. She's having a hard time.


This last picture I couldn't help but take. Emma and Brent were playing checkers. For the last FHE in our house I decided that as a family we needed to go through our games. I wanted everyone's opinion on these matters. I thought we needed to get rid of a few. Checkers were on the maybe side and Emma couldn't remember if it was a game she liked. So I told her that maybe she needed to play it to remember. By the time she got done I don't know if she really liked the game or not because she didn't win but she said she wanted to keep it. I just thought the picture was cute because even amist all the packing and everything there they sat playing checkers. Family is great isn't it?
