Sorry everyone, I'm still trying to get Christmas blogging taken care of. This
night was so much fun. The day of, my neighbor Koky said that she had heard of this place that they gave away a free toy to the kids and cookies and cocoa and their whole house is decorated up pretty. She invited me to go find it with her and her daughter that night along with Emma. It worked out great because Brent hadn't been able to do any Christmas shopping. So we took off to somewhere in Poway (still not sure of exactly where we were) and we found the house. The parking was insane and we had to hike a steep street to get there. When we finally arrived there was a huge line waiting to see Santa. Luckily the girls didn't care abo
ut seeing Old St. Nick this time and we were able to just walk around and see all the pretty lights. It was true there were 8 or 9 Rubbermaid boxes full of toys that the kids could pick out one from and then you could tour the bottom floor of this couples home. It kinda reminded me of being at the cul de sac in Vegas where the one guy would paint on all the garage doors and the whole circle would decorate everything up so pretty. Was that Hondo Ct.? I can't remember, anyway it was pretty great. I kinda wanted to wait in line for Santa because he was one good looking Santa and Mrs. Claus was there too and it would have made such a cute Santa pic but oh well. We walked around the large home and was pretty impressed with everything. After when we were drinking our delish apple cider and cocoa and eating our cookies w
e saw this cute old couple walking around saying hi to everyone. Both Koky and I wondered if that was the owners. I'll have to find out where we were for next year. It was pretty fun. On the way back to the car I found a $20 on the ground. Brent doesn't know about that, well until now!!! Sorry babe it's already spent! It might have to be one of those places that you visit for as many years as they are willing to keep doing it even if the toys were fromt he dollar store and have already gone to the DI!

TAKE US NEXT YEAR!! :) What a fun and magical find! And twenty bucks to boot! Definitely worth the drive!
