San Diego Bay Parade of Lights

Every year since moving here I have wanted to see the parade of lights at the bay during Christmas. Every year I forget. I thought I had once again forgot this year until I found out that they do it twice. We were WAY under prepared. I knew it would get a little cold sitting by the water but it didn't get just a little cold. We were frozen by the time we left. I was wearing two jackets and a hoodie and I was still cold. I realized hoodies and glasses don't go well together. Poor Brent was only wearing a denim jacket and Emma just a sweater jacket . It was pretty fun watching the boats but we did get a little bored and I think if we had been warmer with snacks to eat it would have made the experience much different. Next year we'll know what to expect. When I got these pictures home and started looking at them I was almost perplexed with how old Emma looks. Maybe to others she doesn't look that old but I swear with her hair all curly from church and the way her clothes were kinda hanging on her she looks like she could be starting junior high. That thought totally scares me! Anyway these were the cutest pics from the night.

The Hoodie is totally mismatched but oh well!

Little Red Riding Hood!

Emma's favorite part was the fireworks.

I'm not sure what this picture was all about but it's pretty funny.

The bay is so pretty and we loved watching the boats cruisin along out there before the parade.

This is one of the pictures that I think she looks older. I love her pouty lips!

I love this one because she has Brent's eyes here!

This is another one where I think she looks too old for her own good!
